About teamLab Planets TOKYO
A “body-immersive” museum where you become part of the artwork through water, mirrors and light.
teamLab Planets TOKYO is an immersive digital art museum created by the art collective
teamLab. Unlike a normal museum where you simply look at artworks, Planets is designed so that
your entire body becomes part of the experience.
You walk barefoot through dark corridors, water-filled spaces, mirrored rooms and gigantic interactive
projections that react to your movement. Some of the most famous installations include:
-
Waterfall and Light – climb through flowing digital “water” that moves around your legs.
-
Floating Flower Garden – walk among thousands of real flowers that rise and fall as you move.
-
Infinite Crystal World – a room of hanging LED lights that seem to extend forever in mirrors.
The museum is especially popular with couples, friends and Instagram lovers, but it’s also a unique
experience for families with older children (younger kids may find some dark areas intense).
Tickets, time slots & what to expect
Entry to teamLab Planets is controlled by timed tickets. You choose a date and entry slot,
then arrive during that window. Once inside, you can move at your own pace through the rooms.
Ticket types
- Standard adult ticket (13+) – main ticket used by most visitors.
- Child tickets – for younger visitors, with discounted prices.
- Combo tickets – sometimes available via partners (planets + other attractions).
Exact prices depend on the date and where you book (official website or partner platforms).
Tickets for evenings and weekends can be slightly more expensive due to higher demand.
